Meeting agenda builder
Write the purpose in one sentence, timebox the items, name an owner for each. The agenda updates as you type and exports as Markdown, ready to paste into a calendar invite, Notion or Slack.
Each one gets an owner and a time allocation.
Questions people actually ask
What should a meeting agenda include?
A one-sentence statement of what the meeting is for, topics each with an owner and a time allocation, and what a good outcome looks like. The purpose line matters most. A meeting where nobody can say in one sentence what is being decided is usually a meeting that could have been a message.
Should agenda items be timeboxed?
Yes, mostly because it forces you to notice when you have scheduled sixty minutes of discussion into a thirty minute meeting. The number matters less than the arithmetic it makes visible. This builder totals item times and warns you when they exceed the meeting length.
Who should own each agenda item?
One named person, not a team. The owner introduces the topic and is accountable for the follow-up, which makes it obvious afterwards who owes what. Items with no owner are the ones nobody acts on.
